Join us at the next The Master Slam!

We're excited to take part in a special week-long festival with General Assembly and VentureFizz to host a special edition of The Master Slam. Join us on March 21st, as we put VC's in the hot seat and startup entrepreneurs in judges chair.

The Master Slam: "Wild pitches"

When you put VC's on the mound and startups behind the plate, there's no telling what kind of curveballs will get thrown. Watch as VC's pitch the most extraordinary - and in some cases outlandish - startup ideas to Boston's hottest startups. We're celebrating entrepreneurship by having the people who fund the companies that change the way we live pitch the wildest idea we can think of. Don't miss it - reserve your seat today!

Judge

Each slam requires 6 volunteer judges to review competitors' performances. Judging rules are the same for each slam and are set by us. If you are interested in the topic and would like to judge, contact us [LINK]!

JUDGING RULES

Convincing Argument

Did the contestant present a convincing argument? It doesn't matter if you agree or not, you should rate them based on the content of the argument.

Time limit

Contestants have 90 seconds to make their case in Round 1 and 60 seconds in Round 2. It's a half point off for every 30 seconds they go over (we have a timekeeper, so you'll know).

Quality of the presentation

Did they structure their argument in a powerful/logical way? Don't take off points for nerves or mishaps, pay attention to how well they put together data and made points to support their argument.
